City of Milton

Incorporated on December 1, 2006, the City of Milton is a distinctive community that embraces small-town life and heritage while preserving and enhancing the City’s rural character.  The City of Milton is committed to maintaining the unique quality of life for its residents while efficiently delivering essential services to residents and businesses in an interactive community environment. 

Centrally located just north of metro Atlanta, Milton covers approximately 23,000 acres and has a population of approximately 20,000.  The area is double the physical size of the city of Alpharetta, with half its population.  Known for its pastoral landscapes and tranquil spaces, Milton offers its residents easy access to all of the conveniences of Atlanta with the beauty of rural living.
